Dick Schultz

Richard Walden Schultz Of Gig Harbor, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2016. He was born in Tacoma, Washington on February 5, 1928. Dick was a 1946 graduate of Stadium High School, and was married to Jeannine on June 15, 1951.

Dick’s passions included boat trips on the Honey Bear, spending time with family and friends, and involvement with the Fairliner Boating Club.

Dick was preceded in death by his wife Jeannine (2015), his brother Robert Schultz, and parents Dr. Alfred and Dorothy Schultz. Dick is survived by his three children, Steve Schultz (Jenifer), Laurie Lovrovich (Gary), and Julie Clifford (Mike), ten grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews. Dick is also survived by two sisters, Marjorie and Barbara.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Franciscan Hospice House in University Place, Washington. As a Veteran of the United States Army, a service will be held at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Covington, Washington on May 20, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. There will also be a celebration of life at Jerisich Dock, Gig Harbor, from 4:00-7:00 p.m., aboard the JenMarie.
